According to the Bagua school of Feng Shui, the house is divided into nine areas. These nine areas cover every aspect of your life from career to wealth, from love to health, even that you will get good help from other people or not. Activating these areas bring energy to these areas, which in turn improves these aspects in our lives, for example when you activate the Love area-> it influences your love life positively.
The opposite is also true, if you find an aspect of your life is suffering, check that area, chances are you have ignored that area- it is either storage or is cluttered, or you have kept a negative energy-generating thing in the area.
Bagua School of feng shui gives importance to the entrance of the gate, it has nothing to do with the compass direction. And thus, Bagua school is easy to apply to. And, just sharing a little secret, more than 80% of houses do well if they simply follow Bagua School advice.

Let us now see how to find these eight areas in your house:
- Form a rectangle around the house. Normally houses are rectangular in shape, so it should not be a problem, but in case your house is L shaped or missing some area- then if the missing area is less than 1/3rd of the length consider it present and include it in the rectangle, else exclude it from the rectangle.
- Divide the rectangle in 3×3 = 9 equisized rectangles.
- Now overlay the above rectangle over your house, keep in mind that the entrance of the house is on the same side of the rectangle as the Bagua above.
- The area below each box is the respective area, as per the Bagua School of Feng shui.
